Backpacking with the BU Outing Club, Feb 18-20 '05

Trip Synopsis:

Left Friday afternoon from Boston, drove to Franconia Notch, hiked in the dark to Lincoln Woods, set up base camp, dinner.
Saturday, hiked up Franconia Brook Trail.
Sunday, hiked up Pemiquasit River.
Average temperature during the day 15 F, Night 0 F. (Kept warm by many layers of non-cotton clothes and the girls' smiles.)
Returned to Boston Sunday night.
